ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL EXIT FOR VITI RACING WITH THE TRIUMPH IN THE WSK OPEN SERIES
The second round of the WSK Open Series at La Conca once again crowned Viti Racing engines, with Cristian Bertuca triumphing in KZ2 and Davide Forè in KZ2 Masters.
Cristian Bertuca, competing for the official BirelART Racing team on a BirelART-TM Kart, dominated the scene in the final held at the International Circuit La Conca, securing the WSK Open Series title. He concluded a perfect weekend with a splendid double victory in the Prefinal and Final ahead of a host of international-level opponents. This marks Bertuca’s second title this year after his recent success in the WSK Super Master Series, highlighting not only the undeniable qualities of the driver but also the excellent technical material at his disposal. Bertuca finished first in the overall standings with 232 points, capitalizing greatly on his performance in the previous round at Franciacorta.
Another remarkable result at La Conca came from Davide Forè, who clinched the KZ2 Masters title thanks to his victory at Franciacorta as well. Forè, a multiple-time champion, competed once again with the GSR team on a BirelART-TM Kart in the second round.
However, Bertuca’s teammate, Daniel Vasile, also stood out at La Conca, putting in an excellent performance over the weekend in Puglia. Vasile secured pole position in qualifying and the best position at the end of the heats with a victory. He then finished second in the Prefinal behind Bertuca, securing a double victory for Viti Racing engines. Vasile concluded the Final with a respectable fourth-place finish.
Making their debut in the WSK Open Series at La Conca with Viti Racing engines were Artem Severiukhin, who finished the Final in a good tenth position in the top ten after a six-position comeback. Zoe Florescu Potolea also delivered a solid performance. However, it was a challenging and unlucky weekend for Gabriel Kawer.
The next event will also be at La Conca on May 19th for the second round of the Italian Championship.
