PALOMBA AND VITI RACING ON THE TOP STEP OF THE PODIUM AT THE ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN ADRIA
One victory and a good second place in the two finals of Adria allowed Palomba to make a big leap forward in the classification. The World Championship in Lonato is next up on October 4th.
Viti Racing and Giuseppe Palomba took the third win in the Italian ACI Karting Championship. The double podium – a victory and a P2 – at the Adria Karting Raceway saw the driver from Naples sky-rocketing to the top places of the KZ2 classification, considering that two results will have to be mandatorily discarded. The closer in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia) will decide the title winner on October 25th. Giuseppe Palomba (on BirelART-TM) and team LG Motorsport – with the support of Viti Racing – will have to play all their cards in the title hunt starting virtually equal to his rivals. Regardless the end result, this has been a very strong season for Giuseppe Palomba as confirmed by the recent result in Adria where he won Race1 with a splendid performance and a final overtaking in the closing meters that allowed him to claim the victory.
Race2 has been a bit trickier due to the top eight grid inversion though. This time around Palomba could not climb quickly up, but the result eventually came nevertheless with a second place that pushed him higher in the classification.
Before the grand finale in Castelletto, Palomba and Viti Racing will contest the World Championship in Lonato on October 4th. This is going to be the most important and much awaited event of season 2020 and in the occasion a stunning 105 drivers will challenge each other for the KZ2 World Title. Good luck!
