DOUBLE PODIUM FOR VITI RACING’S ENGINES AT THE 51ST TROFEO DELLE INDUSTRIE
The 51st Trofeo delle Industrie ended with a double podium for Viti Racing engines, featuring standout performances by Cristian Bertuca and Daniel Vasile, both racing on BirelART-TM Karts. They had been leading from the pole position in the heats, with Bertuca recording the fastest time and Vasile the second-best time. Both drivers remained competitive throughout the event, but two 5s time penalties prevented them from securing victory. Vasile incurred an unintentional contact during the pre-final, while Bertuca was penalized for a jump start just before the race began. Nevertheless, they displayed commendable efforts, setting fast lap times. Bertuca remained in the lead, trying to extend his advantage over the pursuers and make up precious seconds, while Vasile focused on regaining positions, eventually climbing nine places. The victory went to Riccardo Longhi, also on a BirelART-TM kart, taking his third Trofeo delle Industrie win. Viti Racing’s two drivers secured a double podium, with Daniel Vasile in second place and Cristian Bertuca in third place after accounting for their 5s penalties. It was a positive double podium for Viti Racing engines, demonstrating their competitiveness once again. Davide Cugini, also racing with Viti Racing, showed promising performances in his first experiences in the KZ2 category. Unfortunately, an accident during the pre-final prevented him from starting in the final race.
