VITI RACING PUTTING IN GREAT PERFORMANCES IN THE KZ2 FRENCH CHAMPIONSHIP
Viti Racing has been shining also in the French Championship FFSA in KZ2. In Varennes, the drivers assisted by the Italian preparator have been among the most competitive in the only round of the French Championship. Among the quickest with Viti Racing, the young French Gillian Lay has been very competitive since qualifying on DR-TM-D-racing-LeCont , when he posted the second time in Group 2 being 0.132s shy of the pole position time. He later on has been very effective in the heats claiming a win and securing the overall P3 despite a 10s time penalty. Lay kept his momentum in the first two Finals, where he claimed a second and third place after conceding some positions early on. Lay unfortunately was involved in an incident in the third Final and was forced to an early stop. Despite scoring a DNF in the third Final, Lay was fifth overall in the French Championship.
In KZ2 Viti Racing also assisted Nathan Hedouin, who produced an overall good performance. Hedouin came to the fore in qualifying with P5 of Group 1, 0.372s short of the pole position, but then he was not very lucky in the heats and had to settle for P23 out of the 63 drivers on track. This result allowed him to qualify for the three Finals, that he respectively ended in 22nd, 14th and 17th place.
Hedouin classified 19th in the French Championship.
The French driver Alexandre Vits was assisted by Viti Racing in KZ2 Master. Vits posted the 10th time of his group in qualifying. He later on ended Final-1 in 17th place, Final-2 in 23rd and Final-3 in 21st. Vits classified 20th in the KZ2 Master French Championship.
