VITI RACING 5 TIMES ON THE PODIUM AT THE ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN SARNO. GREAT WIN WITH PALOMBA IN KZ2
Palomba won the first Final in Sarno and the second place in race-2 placed him to second place of the Championship. De Marco also twice on the podium of KZ2, Nalon on the podium of KZN Over.
Viti Racing had a very strong outing at the Italian ACI Karting Championship in Sarno. The Italian preparator got the full haul of podiums in KZ2 and KZN Over. In KZ2 the most prestigious win went to Giuseppe Palomba on Croc-Tm who dominated the weekend of the third round of the Italian Championship at the International Circuit Napoli in Sarno. Palomba has been the quickest since qualifying practice, then won the heats and rounded off this perfect weekend taking a well deserved win in race-1. This relaunched Palomba’s chances for the Italian Championship’s title fight. The driver from Naples assisted by Viti Racing run also another strong race in the Final and claimed another podium in P2. Palomba is now second in the provisional standings just 16 points shy of the top.
Viti Racing’s successful weekend in Sarno was completed by the results obtained by the other drivers it has been assisting: Davide De Marco (KR-Tm) was twice on the podium alongside Palomba in KZ2, coming second in race-1 and third in race-2!
The other drivers assisted by Viti Racing in KZ2, Rocco Tancredi (BirelArt-Tm), Alessio Baldi (Intrepid-Tm), Mauro Simoni (Evokart-Tm) and Guglielmo Guerriero (BirelArt-Tm) came to the fore in several occasions during the weekend.
Viti Racing secured another podium, that was the fifth of the weekend, in KZN Over thanks to Riccardo Nalon (Parolin-Tm). He pulled a great P2 in race-1 and came fourth in race-2. Gionata De Mezza (Croc-Tm) secured a good P9 in KZN Over’s race-2, Paolo Beltramini (Energy-Tm) was 19th in both the races, but suffered some contacts with the rivals.
Filippo D’Attanasio (Formula K-Tm) had a very positive weekend and was among the quickest in KZN Under coming seventh in race-1 and sixth in race-2.
The fourth round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship will take place in Adria on July 29th.
