VITI RACING’S ENGINES KICK OFF SEASON 2024 WITH A NICE PODIUM AT THE WSK CHAMPIONS CUP
The opening of the 2024 season brought the first satisfaction for the excellent performance offered by the drivers involved in the WSK Champions Cup held in Lonato with Viti Racing engines. Cristian Bertuca, racing with BirelART Racing on a BirelART-TM Kart, immediately confirmed himself as one of the fastest throughout the weekend, eventually securing a podium in the final with an impressive race pace that elevated him to the third step of the podium.
The performance showcased in the first international event of 2024 confirms Bertuca’s speed, as he was already a significant protagonist last year, and the technical quality of Viti Racing engines that once again position themselves at the top of the standings. Artem Severiukhin was also among the top performers. He had managed to secure the third row at the start of the final after a growing weekend, but his result was voided by contact at the beginning that caused him to lose several positions.
Also racing with Viti Racing engines, Sebastien Belhocine displayed an excellent comeback, gaining 11 positions to secure an impressive eighth-place finish. Kirill Kutskov, making his debut in KZ2, unfortunately had to retire a few laps in the final.
The next appointment for Viti Racing is again set in Lonato for the first round of the WSK Super Master Series, scheduled from January 25th to 28th.
