AMAZING ONE-TWO FOR VITI RACING ENGINES AT THE WSK SUPER MASTER SERIES
After the podium achieved in a comeback at the recent WSK Champions Cup, Viti Racing engines secured a sensational one-two finish in the following week at the Lonato Circuit in the first round of the WSK Super Master Series. This achievement came thanks to the outstanding performance of Cristian Bertuca and the excellent Daniel Vasile, racing with BirelART Racing on BirelART-TM Karts, who monopolized the top two spots on the podium.
It was a perfect weekend that confirmed the young Cristian Bertuca, not yet eighteen, as one of the strongest drivers on the international scene, along with Daniel Vasile, capable of remarkable feats such as the comeback in the final at Lonato after an unfortunate heat and the penalty received in the Prefinal.
Cristian Bertuca’s performance was impressive, from securing the second-best time in his group, just a few thousandths behind Vasile in qualifying, to winning two heats, the Prefinal-A, and ultimately leading the Final from start to finish.
Daniel Vasile had a more challenging but equally exciting weekend. After securing the group pole position in qualifying, he faced a trickier path in the heats and Prefinal but recovered well in the Final to claim second place.
Among the drivers with Viti Racing engines, Samuel Luyet and Jean Laurent Luyet delivered excellent performances, finishing just outside the top ten. Matheus Morgatto, Artem Severiukhin, Sebastien Belhocine and Samuele Leopardi also showcased impressive performances, while Gabriel Kawer and Ricardo Avila Manrique did not manage to qualify for the Final.
