VITI RACING ON THE PODIUM AT THE TROFEO DELLE INDUSTRIE WITH GIANNONI. GOOD DEBUT FOR PALOMBA
Viti Racing claimed another podium at the end of season 2018 in occasion of the 47th Trofeo delle Industrie in Lonato with Lorenzo Giannoni (CKR-TM), who has been a great interpreter of a very difficult race due to the weather conditions, as rain has fallen relentlessly during the two days of the event. Giannoni was on the podium of the Trofeo delle Industrie in third place. He actually crossed the finish line in P2, but a movement on the starting grid just before the start handed him a penalty that pushed him down to P3. The speed shown by the Italian driver on the water has been great though and he deserved the podium.
Giuseppe Palomba had also a positive debut on the new Croc Promotion chassis. He was assisted by Viti Racing for the TM engine. Despite some difficulties on the wet tarmac, Palomba run a good final and closed his effort in 11th place overall, recovering several positions from the heats and Prefinal. This was a first acquaintance with the new chassis for Palomba ahead of season 2019 and this debut has been very positive.
Among the 57 verified drivers, the other two drivers assisted by Viti Racing qualified for the Final: Alessio Baldi (CKR-TM) and Filippo Berto (CRG-TM) managed to complete their race despite all the pitfalls of the soaked circuit.
