CRISTIAN BERTUCA AND VITI RACING ARE THE KZ2 ITALIAN CHAMPIONS

A great result was needed right away to close the Italian season in style and definitively secure the Italian KZ2 Championship title, leaving no room for doubt in the fifth round at Lonato. Cristian Bertuca, leader of the ACI Karting Italian Championship since the first round at Triscina, fully accomplished his task with an impeccable victory in the first of the two finals at Lonato, which definitively awarded him the 2024 Italian title. This resulted in another great success for the excellent engine support by Viti Racing, and obviously for BirelART and TM Kart, and the LG Motorsport Team.

Cristian Bertuca’s performance was very consistent, as he has always been in the lead. He started strongly in Sicily on the Circuit of Triscina with a resounding double victory, the momentum continued then at La Conca where Bertuca took his third victory, at Val Vibrata with other precious points, at Sarno the fourth victory, and finally at Lonato the fifth win out of 10 finals. No one has been better than him. At Lonato, Bertuca immediately made his intentions clear with pole position in qualifying in 45.869s, two victories and first place in the heats, and finally the victory in race 1 which legitimized his Italian title.

The attention for Viti Racing and Cristian Bertuca is now turned towards Portugal, for the FIA Karting KZ2 World Championship round at Portimao, and with the usual goal: victory.

Simone Bianco also raced on a Kalì Kart with a Viti Racing engine at Lonato scoring good overall performances.
