EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMACE FROM VITI RACING ENGINES WITH GIUSEPPE PALOMBA IN THE WSK FINAL CUP AT LONATO
The third round of the WSK Final Cup at South Garda Karting in Lonato ended with an exceptional performance from Viti Racing engines, highlighted by Giuseppe Palomba in KZ2, who staged a spectacular comeback in the Final from the 13th place on the grid to secure third place, following a retirement in one of the heats.
Palomba’s feat, representing Maranello Kart on a Maranello-TM Kart-LeCont chassis, was truly superb in the Final. The Viti Racing driver executed 10 overtakes to secure the third step of the podium, even challenging for second position in the final meters.
This was a truly remarkable performance, penalized by that retirement in his second heat, especially after displaying excellent competitiveness in the first heat with a third place, and again in the third heat with a second place and the fastest lap—not only of the race but of the entire event—with a time of 45.246.
In Prefinal-B, he then recovered several positions, once again setting the fastest lap, before unleashing his full potential in the Final where he secured the podium and again claimed the fastest lap of the race, maintaining the fastest overall lap time for the entire event.
The Czech driver Tadeas Radvan was also competing in the WSK Final Cup in Lonato with Viti Racing engines on a Maranello-TM Kart, who delivered a good performance, completing a positive Final.
