VITI RACING ENGINES HAD A GREAT RACE IN THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP AT ALCANIZ!
It was a challenging but very satisfying weekend for Viti Racing with their engines at the Motorland Aragón circuit in Alcaniz, Spain, for the first round of the FIA Karting European Championship KZ2 and KZ2 Masters. The performance in KZ2 was fantastic with the splendid victory of Daniel Vasile, who was combative and very determined, and the thrilling battle in KZ2 Masters with Davide Forè fighting until the last meter before crossing the finish line in second place. Both were engaged with BirelART Racing on BirelART-TM Karts.
In KZ2, the qualifying sessions immediately highlighted Daniel Vasile with the fourth fastest time in Session-3 at 59.736s, as well as Artem Severiukhin with the fourth fastest time in Session-1 at 58.852s. Among the top performers were also Josep Vea Terrado, Robert Kindervater, Kirill Kutskov, Matheus Morgatto, Corentin Rousseau, Jean Luyet, and Jesper Sjoberg, while those who lagged behind included Cristian Bertuca, along with Samuel Luyet, Zoe Florescu, Samuele Leopardi, and Marcelo Gonzalez, making their recovery difficult.
In the final, alongside Vasile’s superb victory, a good result also came from Kindervater, who finished ninth after climbing 10 positions, and from Jean Luyet, who finished 15th after a 17-position comeback, while Bertuca, also due to a penalty, finished 19th.
In KZ2 Masters, Davide Forè’s performance was exceptional. He was always a protagonist, leading the intermediate classification after the heats with a victory, and remained at the top in the Super Heat and the Final, finishing with a fine second place. Ricardo Avila Manrique and Carlos Medina also participated in KZ2 Masters.
