DOUBLE VICTORY AT THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF PORTIMAO IN KZ2 WITH BERTUCA AND MORGATTO

Viti Racing has secured a resounding double victory in the FIA Karting World Championship in Portugal. Cristian Bertuca, driving for BirelART Racing, claimed a sensational win and the KZ2 world title, while Matheus Morgatto, with CL Racing Team, secured an extraordinary second place. Both drivers, competing with BirelART TM Karts powered by Viti Racing, dominated the podium in Portimao with a decisive and unchallenged performance.

Bertuca and Morgatto demonstrated exceptional speed from the beginning throughout the entire weekend. Bertuca led from pole position in qualifying and kept his momentum winning in the heats and the first Super Heat. Morgatto showcased a superb recovery to win the second Super Heat, ensuring both drivers started from the front row in the Final. Their dominance continued in the Final as they crossed the finish line in first and second place.

The only missing piece to complete Viti Racing’s prestigious result was Daniel Vasile, who was forced to retire from the Final after a contact in the early stages, despite showing strong pace throughout the event.

Other Viti Racing drivers who made a significant impact in the final included Josep Vea Terrado, Martti Ritonen, Roman Sharapov, and Robert Kindervater. Jesper Sjoberg and Henrique Cruz retired in the Super Heat, while Mathilda Paatz and Kirill Kutskov unfortunately did the same in the heats. In the KZ2 Masters category, Andre Filipe De Andrade reached the Final, while Adriano Amaral and Enzo Pirovano made it to the Super Heats.
