VITI RACING ENGINES ARE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ITALIAN ACI KARTING CHAMPIONSHIP IN UGENTO
The first round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship concluded with success for Viti Racing engines in the Italian Championship’s opening event at the Pista Salentina track in Ugento in KZ2, with a resounding one-two finish. This excellent result was courtesy of Elie Goldstein, winner with TBKart Racing Team, followed by Michael Barbaro Paparo with Monster K Factory Team, both powered by TM Kart engines by Viti Racing. It was a great result that was never in doubt and was also complemented by a podium finish in KZ2 Under 18 with second place going to Andrea Pirovano, also with TBKart Racing Team.
The weekend had started very well right from the qualifying sessions, then continued in the heats with first place for Goldstein, third place for Paparo and sixth place overall for Pirovano. In the Prefinal, an initial one-two finish for Goldstein and Paparo confirmed the competitiveness of Viti Racing engines, foreshadowing what then happened in the Final, with a one-two victory for Goldstein, who also set the fastest lap, and second place for Paparo, who led the race from start to finish. There was also great satisfaction for Pirovano in KZ2 Under 18. He was second in the category reserved for the youngest drivers, and seventh overall. Good overall performances also for the other drivers assisted by Viti Racing: Alessandro Zallocco with Monster K Factory Team, Vincenzo La Martina on KR and Marco D’Elia with LG Motorsport.
