
VITI RACING’S ENGINES ON TOP OF THE EUROPEAN KZ2 CHAMPIONSHIP AFTER THE OPENER IN GENK
Viti Racing’s engines obtained a great result in the opening meeting of the European FIA Karting KZ2 Championship in Genk (Belgium). Out of the 94 drivers entered in this international event, 7 of them employed Viti Racing’s engines and fought for the final victory. Eventually, one of them, the French Tom Leuillet, claimed the victory with team Leclerc by Lennox Racing on BirelART-TM Racing. This great result saw the driver dominating not only the Final, but also all the qualifying stages of the Belgian weekend.
Among the best drivers using Viti Racing’s engines, the German Robert Kindervater was eighth overall with the Austrian team Birel ART Racing KSW. Giuseppe Palomba of Birel ART Racing came to the fore taking 14th at the end of a ten-place recovery.
Other Viti Racing’s drivers like Valentino Fritsch, Jesper Sjoberg, Oscar Targett and Ivan Ekelchik qualified for the final and put in very good performances overall.
The next round of the European KZ2 Championship will take place on June 16-19 at the Circuit of Cremona.
