ANOTHER VICTORY FOR VITI RACING ENGINES IN KZ2 AT THE ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN SARNO
Viti Racing engines secured another great victory in the Italian ACI Karting Championship, the fourth of the season in the KZ2 overall. This time it was achieved in Sarno at the penultimate event of the season, with Cristian Bertuca racing with LG Motorsport on a BirelART-TM Kart.
A significant victory worth 70 points, claimed in race 1, after also dominating the beginning of the weekend in qualifying practice with the pole position taken in 57.011s, which represents the new record for the Sarno circuit, now 1670 meters after the addition of the new section before the finish.
This supremacy was also confirmed in the heats with two wins, and then the victory in race 1, bringing Bertuca closer to the Italian title, which will be awarded in the final event on September 22nd in Lonato.
Among other drivers assisted by Viti Racing, Simone Bianco also had an excellent performance, with Kalì Kart. He was third overall in qualifying practice, fifth in the heats, seventh in race 1, and second in the Under 18 category. He climbed again on the podium with the third place overall in race 2 and victory in the Under 18. This was a truly great weekend for Bianco as well!
Davide Forè with the GSR team on a BirelART-TM Kart got on the podium of the Master as he finished both finals in the top ten. Corentin Rousseau with KCS Racing, on a BirelART-TM Kart, also did well, ending just outside the top ten and always among the best, as did Fabio Bifulco with LG Motorsport, who delivered a solid overall performance.
