VITI RACING’S ENGINES ARE THE WSK SUPER MASTER SERIES 2024 CHAMPIONS
For the second consecutive year, Viti Racing engines secure victory in the WSK Super Master Series in KZ2 with Cristian Bertuca racing for the BirelART Racing team on a BirelART-TM Kart. In the final round at the International Circuit Napoli, the 2024 edition also adds to Viti Racing’s achievements, marked by outstanding performance and reliability, providing another prestigious accolade for TM Kart engines by Viti Racing.
The journey in the WSK Super Master Series was once again defined by the impressive performance of Cristian Bertuca, who secured victory in the first round in Lonato, achieved two podium finishes in Cremona and Franciacorta, and ultimately claimed victory in the Prefinal-A at Sarno during the fourth and final round, securing the 2024 title. The fourth-place finish in the final and the top step on the podium for winning the championship provided a gratifying moment for the entire team.
Other Viti Racing drivers also showcased great performances, with all making it to the final. The best three fastest laps were made by Viti Racing drivers: first Severiukhin 54.251, second Bertuca 54.325, third Vasile 54.360.
Artem Severiukhin stood out, setting the fastest time in the Session-1 qualifying, winning a heat, finishing second in the Prefinal behind Bertuca, and recording the fastest lap in the Final, although his performance was hampered by a 5-second penalty for a jump start at the beginning.
Daniel Vasile demonstrated a strong performance, securing third place in the Prefinal, finishing tenth in the final, and securing fourth place in the championship. Excellent performances were also delivered by Jean Luyet, Sebastien Belhocine, Samuel Luyet, Gabriel Kawer, Samuele Leopardi and Kirill Ktuskov, who unfortunately was hindered by an incident at the start of the final.
The next event is scheduled for March 17th at Lonato for the Trofeo Andrea Margutti.
