VITI RACING ENGINES TAKE THE LEAD IN THE WSK SUPER MASTER SERIES
The third round of the WSK Super Master Series at the Franciacorta Karting Track confirmed Viti Racing engines at the top of the championship standings before the final round on March 2nd in Sarno, with Cristian Bertuca leading with 229 points and Daniel Vasile in second place with 154.
Both drivers, along with Artem Severiukhin and Jean Luyet, all racing for the BirelART Racing team on BirelART-TM Karts, were among the main protagonists of the event at Franciacorta.
For Bertuca, it was the third consecutive podium after the victory in Lonato and the third place in Cremona. Bertuca showed consistent speed, starting with the second-fastest time in the Session-3 qualifying, fifth place in the heats, sixth in Prefinal-A, and third in the final.
Vasile finished just outside the podium with a fourth-place finish, which was a bit disappointing for the Romanian driver. He had the third-fastest time in the Session-2 qualifying, third place in the heats, a victory in Prefinal-A, and started from the front row in the final.
Severiukhin, unfortunately, had a stroke of bad luck, securing the sixth time in Session-1 qualifying but forced to retire in Prefinal-B due to a technical issue. He was then penalized in the final, a result pushing him out of the top-ten.
Jean Luyet, finished just outside the top ten in Franciacorta, had the fourth-fastest time in Session-3 qualifying, was among the protagonists in the heats, and finished sixth in Prefinal-B.
Also racing with Viti Racing were Kirill Kutskov, Samuele Leopardi, Samuel Luyet, Gabriel Kawer and Ricardo Avila.
The next event is scheduled for March 2nd in Sarno for the final round of the WSK Super Master Series. Complete results are available at www.wskarting.it.
