VITI RACING ENGINES ARE THE PROTAGONISTS OF THE KZ2 ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN VAL VIBRATA
Viti Racing engines took once again center stage in KZ2, standing out at the third round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship in Val Vibrata, with Cristian Bertuca extending his championship lead and Davide Forè narrowly missing the overall podium in both finals, along with a double victory in KZ2 Master.
Bertuca’s weekend, racing with LG Motorsport on a BirelART-TM Kart, started well at Val Vibrata with the second-fastest time in Group 1 and the fourth-fastest overall, just 57 milliseconds off the pace. He then placed third in the qualifying heats with one win. In the two intense and hard-fought finals, Bertuca finished second in race 1, winning in the Under 18 category, and secured another podium finish with third place in race 2. His goal of gaining ground was achieved, increasing his lead by 99 points.
On the other hand, Davide Forè, with GRS Team on a BirelART-TM Kart, achieved a fifth and fourth overall and a double victory in the KZ2 Master, moving up to third place in the overall standings and confirming himself as the absolute leader in the Master category.
Among the other drivers racing with Viti Racing engines, Kirill Kutskov was also highly competitive, placing in the top ten in the heats but unfortunately experiencing incidents in the final phase. The fast Romanian driver Zoe Florescu Potolea, with the KCS team of Antonio Mancino on a BirelART-TM Kart, was unable to qualify for the final phase due to a complicated qualifying session, despite his recoveries in the heats. Simone Bianco, with Kalì-Kart -TM Kart, had an excellent qualifying but faced bad luck with two retirements in the heats. Various issues also prevented the French driver Sorentin Rousseau and Giampietro Oggiano from reaching the final phase.
