GOOD COMPETITIVENESS IN KZ2 FOR VITI RACING’S ENGINES IN THE ITALIAN ROUND OF VITERBO

There was yet another demonstration of the competitiveness of Viti Racing engines at the second round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship at the Leopard Circuit Viterbo. This event  confirmed the leadership of Viti’s engines in the Italian Championship in KZ2 with Elie Goldstein, racing with TB Kart Racing Team on TB Kart-TM Kart-Vega.

After his success in the first round in Ugento, the Belgian driver was also a protagonist in Viterbo with a masterful performance throughout the weekend, culminating in victory in Prefinal-A with the fastest lap, and fourth place in the Final, once again setting the fastest lap while attempting to snatch third place on the podium, which narrowly escaped him. The victory in the Prefinal and fourth place overall still allowed Goldstein to increase his championship lead, where he continues to hold the top position, now with 110 points and a 24-point advantage.

Among the other Viti Racing drivers, Alessandro Zallocco with the Monster K Factory team on Monster K-TM Kart also delivered an excellent performance, finishing eighth overall. Michael Barbaro Paparo, also with the Monster K Factory team, had some bad luck due to a penalty that cost him several positions. Paparo is fourth in the standings with 63 points. A penalty for a misplaced front spoiler also cost Fabio Palluzzi, racing with CIK on Birelart-TM Kart, several positions.

On the podium of the KZ2 Under 18, Jurse Kipras finished with Gold Kart on Righetti Ridolfi-TM Kart, delivering a strong performance and was sixth in the Under 18 standings. Good performances also came from the other Under 18 driver, Andrea Pirovano with TB Kart, who was second in the Under 18 championship. Marco D’Elia with LG Motorsport on Birelart also completed a good race. Renzo Pecutari with Birelart, however, could not make it into the finalists.
