AMAZING ONE-TWO-THREE FOR VITI RACING ENGINES IN THE KZ2 ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE CREMONA CIRCUIT
At the Cremona Circuit, Viti Racing engines achieved a sensational “triplet” in the fourth round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship, securing leadership in the KZ2 Italian Championship across three categories: overall KZ2 with Elie Goldstein, KZ2 Under 18 with Andrea Pirovano, and KZ2 Master with Angelo Lombardo.
The classification of the Italian ACI Karting KZ2 Championship:
1st Golstein Elie (BEL) by Viti Racing points 202
The classification of the Italian ACI Karting KZ2 Under 18 Championship
1st Pirovano Andrea (ITA) by Viti Racing points 193
The classification of the Italian ACI Karting KZ2 Master Championship
1st Lombardo Angelo (ITA) by Viti Racing points 182
An extraordinary one-two-three was highlighted by Elie Goldstein’s feat in the KZ2 Final, racing with TB Kart Racing Team on TB Kart-TM Kart-Vega. He delivered an exceptional performance, winning a very difficult race due to the rain that fell shortly before the start. The slippery asphalt made driving complicated, but Goldstein skillfully and capably completed the Final, thanks also to the performance of the Viti Racing-prepared engine that accompanied him to cross the finish line as the first. His advantage in the standings is now 43 points, a significant margin heading into the final round in Franciacorta on September 21st.
Equally exceptional in KZ2 was the second position of Andrea Pirovano, Goldstein’s teammate, who not only delivered a one-two finish in the overall standings for TB Kart Racing Team but also secured victory in KZ2 Under 18, effectively propelling him to the top of that category’s standings.
The other important result in KZ2 came thanks to a spectacular Angelo Lombardo, who achieved his maiden overall victory in a KZ2 Prefinal, which placed him in fourth position in the championship. Additionally, his second place in the Master Final allows him to keep the lead in the KZ2 Master standings.
Also excellent was the race of Michael Barbaro Paparo with Monster K Factory Team, fourth in the KZ2 final and fifth in the championship, and his teammate Alessandro Zallocco, who also delivered a strong performance. Marco D’Elia with LG Motorsport on Birelart-TM Kart, and Cristian Fierabracci with FK Motorsport on IPK-TM Kart also performed well. Kevin Cancelli with Red Fury Karting Team on Birelart-TM Kart and his teammate Gabriele Leggio also took part in the Cremona event.
