The Italian driver has always been among the quickest on Intrepid-Tm assisted by Viti Racing, but in the third qualifying heat \u2013 that followed a sixth and fourth place in the first two heats, he was involved in a contact soon after the start and had to retire. Palomba has recovered well up to P6 in Prefinal-A and then ended the Final in 12th place.
